The Northern Potter School District is a rural public school district located in northeastern Potter County, Pennsylvania. It serves the municipalities of Ulysses, Ulysses Township, Genesee, Bingham, and Harrison. Portions of Allegany Township and Hector Township are also within its boundaries. Northern Potter School District encompasses approximately 231 square miles.
It consists of one elementary school for grades K4 through 6, a middle school for 7th and 8th grade, and a high school for 9th through 12th grade. The Northern Potter School District will strive to become “World-Class” in preparing all students, using standards-based curriculum, to compete successfully in a global economy. Our school district aims to provide a safe and secure environment for all our students, parents, and staff.

Dolly Parton Imagination Library
The Northern Potter School District in partnership with the Potter County Education Council and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is pleased to announce a free program to all residents of young children under the age of 5 in the Northern Potter School District.

5th and 6th Grade Soccer
The 5th & 6th grade students at Northern Potter will have the opportunity to participate in the Youth Soccer League this fall with teams from Westfield and Galeton. Practice for the soccer league will be held at Northern Potter beginning in September; the coach(es) will set the practice dates and times. The games will be scheduled at Northern Potter, Westfield, and Galeton toward the end of September into October.
Registration paperwork will be going home with students next week. If your child would like to participate, please complete the required form, and return it with your registration fee of $25 by Friday, September 2nd to the Children’s School office.
