The Northern Potter School District is a rural public school district located in northeastern Potter County, Pennsylvania. It serves the municipalities of Ulysses, Ulysses Township, Genesee, Bingham, and Harrison. Portions of Allegany Township and Hector Township are also within its boundaries. Northern Potter School District encompasses approximately 231 square miles.
It consists of one elementary school for grades K4 through 6, a middle school for 7th and 8th grade, and a high school for 9th through 12th grade. The Northern Potter School District will strive to become “World-Class” in preparing all students, using standards-based curriculum, to compete successfully in a global economy. Our school district aims to provide a safe and secure environment for all our students, parents, and staff.

Walizer Wall of Honor Applications
Applications for the Walizer Wall of Honor are available at the Northern Potter School District Administration Building. The award honors prior Northern Potter employees with at least 35 years of employment in the education field. Nominations (living or deceased) can be submitted by anyone. Deadline to submit completed applications is May 1, 2023.

The Northern Potter School District in partnership with the Potter County Education Council and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is pleased to announce a free program to all residents of young children under the age of 5 in the Northern Potter School District.
